The October Hunter Valley Wine experience weekend at the Tuscany Wine Estate Resort was very well received, 48 enthusiastic club members participated, and the wine tour in a shofar driven bus lead by Mark Johnson proved to be not only informative, but a lot of fun.
The weather was perfect, Putty Road which is a club favourite once again provided all of us the opportunity to enjoy our Porsche’s cornering ability, and I am pleased to say no speeding tickets despite the highway patrol presence at two different locations along the route.
The Tuscany provided very pleasant accommodation as well as hosting our dinner at one of their restaurants which served delicious sophisticated food, all complemented by stunning views as well as a impromptu fireworks display during the evening.
Just to spice up the night Mark Johnston challenged all of us with a 20 question quiz related to the wine tour and wine in general which was a lot of fun.
Congratulations to the winners who I suspect were more focussed, and may not have indulged during the wine tour compared to others. Keep an eye out for the full feature article in the next edition of Porsche Power Magazine.
