It looks like the Spring School Holidays will be a staycation for many Club Members. Therefore, just for fun, we are running the first-ever Porsche Club NSW Young Artists Competition, with the theme “My dream Porsche”.

The competition is open to school-age children whose parents/guardians/carers are current Club Members. There are two categories, Primary School (Kindergarten to Year 6) and High School (Years 7 to 12).

Create an artwork showing your dream Porsche. It may be a road or race model, current or historic. It may be a production model, or a Porsche concept car. The format can be either a painting or drawing, and physical or digital.

Entries will be judged against the following criteria:

Interpretation of the theme (originality, creativity, Porsche-ness)

Visual impact (use of colour, composition)

There will be one winner in each category. Each winner will receive a $100 Dymocks gift voucher.

To enter, send a high-resolution scan or photo of the artwork to Include a description of the artwork, up to 100 words. Advise the name of the artist and the category being entered.

To indicate parental/guardian permission, entries will need to originate from a Club member’s email address and include a statement agreeing to the participation of your child in the PCNSW Young Artists Competition.

Artworks should be created in the period Saturday 18 September until Monday 4 October, that is, during the Spring School Holiday. However, entries will be accepted until Sunday 10 October.

Entries may be printed in the Club magazine and appear on the Club website. Winners will be announced in the Club magazine.
